One of these projects is Shadow Warrior, which in previous times was a bloody shooter, and many years later he retained his ideals, not for long thinking, the developers decided to turn it into a series, but now also with the cooperative regime. Gears of War became the shooter who not only brought the mechanics of shelters, rolls and shooting from the hip to the desired level of quality, but also consolidated the popularity of the cooperative regime. And after ten years we see already the fourth part of the series, which in its essence is a re-release. This is another cool 4 player games in the market.
Twenty-five years have passed since the third part of the series ended, people left the planet, destroying it with an intercontinental laser beam, moving to the planet Sulfur. Destroyed the main enemy of all mankind Locust and now certainly no one will disturb, it would seem, what else can impede the establishment of peace? But as everyone knows, the war will never change, and strife will continue again and again, never stopping its bloody and infinitely long journey. The plot in the game is a strange enough, rather rudimentary thing – on the one hand, the endless epic nature of what is happening, a strong injection, and on the other hand a complete emptiness of emotions, busting with pathos even by the standards of modern shooters (and this is a very, very high level of pathos that does not Will reach the limit if you add up all the DC films). All this looks like the fourth season of a typical series, the writers have long been written and are trying to introduce new characters, and the old ones are moved to the background in order not to anger the fans and make the audience happy with familiar faces. The whole main problem of the plot lies not so much in the universe, the history or the way to present it, they are just quite acceptable, but the characters this time are really quite cardboard and unremarkable, as if the cliche set is moving around the screen. The protagonist, the son of Marcus Phoenix, named JD (even the name is stupid, cliched, as if he’s a failed benchmark, not a fighter, a stupid name and not pick up) just a puppet moving around the screen and that’s it. Even adding something special will not succeed. All the elements that we have ever seen in the previous parts, not that they came without any changes, they are what they should be. Even the weapons remained the same, despite the fact that twenty-five years have passed since the moment of resettlement to a new planet (the developers themselves justify that all this time the world was not up to the war, and accordingly not to military developments, which is very doubtful). And it’s not bad at all, because we came for Gears of War, as though it obviously did not sound. Perhaps this is the main plus of the 4 player games, because the new developers could not break the original spirit of the series.
All the main changes are technical, a sort of plaster applied over already known formulas. Gears of War 4 was itself, showing a rail attraction, typical of Hollywood, with explosions, huge mechanical robots, mutants and dictatorship, where scenes of spectacular skirmishes under two moons of Sulfur are replaced by bike rides where the steep protagonist gives all the kicks. Such is the mass art and nothing can be done about it with money. Sometimes the studio is so greedy that any adequate and thinking person will be horrified by their greed. And now, perhaps, we will talk about one of such things – the game of the film. Not just a film, but a remake of a classic comedy, a cult comedy that turned out to be more than horrible and destroyed everything that was in the original. Is it worth waiting for a good game on the film, which literally defiled the past? This question will not remain rhetorical. No doubt that 4 player games mode is the most interesting.

The formula of the game is quite simple – the creators took the previous game from under their hands, which is also about ghost hunters, only old and from the animated series called Ghostbusters : Sanctum of Slime. This is a simple top-down shooter, which did not represent anything outstanding, and moreover, rather simply depressed its existence, rather than just pleased them. And that’s all. There will be no more variety. Really. Nothing more, that’s all. Well, there are still four different heroes that do not differ in gameplay, which do not differ in character, because nobody was going to disclose them, which differ only in character models. Well, yes, they differ in the type of firearms, which truth shoots absolutely the same. Still they differ initial skills in a branch of prorolling, developers will tell. Well, yes, they differ, only the skills of all are exactly the same and after going to the end of the game any character will be pumped to the maximum. Surprised that there is a pumping? Yes, but it practically does not affect the game.
Everything is done so lazily that it becomes scary, can the creator be so stifled to his offspring. Locations – a set of corridors, the design of which can be repeated, they look scant, do not represent anything from themselves and just irritate at the end with their straightforwardness. Enemies in the game are simply translucent models of people or flying heads, bosses at some levels simply simply repeat themselves, literally through one level you can meet exactly the same opponent, only in double size and another color. Guess what adds to the game DLC? Maybe a new company? Maybe new characters and a new mode? No. New costumes. For 250 rubles. This is the price tag of a full-fledged game, just for new costumes.
Where not, in the game everything is terribly literally. Complete lack of plot, average graphics, even by the standards of the genre, disgusting monotonous gameplay, from which you do not just fall asleep, and die from boredom. And what can I say about it, if the developers simply copied Ghostbusters : Sanctum of Slime, getting rid of all the pluses, from all the diversity, from any pleasant trifle, completely degraded every component of his past game, which was extremely, so extremely bad. What happens if you make a bad remake of a bad game? A horrible disgusting fake, just as horrible as a film, under no circumstances buy, do not rock, do not look at it. And for the finals, guess how much it costs? 1200 rubles. That’s it so all publishers love money.
